[Ntop] NTOP Restarting and Saving Data

Exactly, never restart it! :). Check out the rrd files, if you adjust the setting in the rrd plugin it does save some decent data. Also, there are other ways to save some data, some elegant - others not so much..

Sorry, I'm NTOP newbie. This may sound stupid. But I'm just wondering, if NTOP is not able to retain data after a restart, what usually do most of you do? Just be careful not to restart NTOP?
