[Ntop] ntop segfault

Exactly.  Certain versions have issues with name/ip resolution that
cause all kinds of problems.  I *think* many of those issues have been
resolved with the elimination of "libevent", but not sure what version
that is.  I'm on a fairly recent development version that doesn't crash
because of name/ip resolution - but does crash for other reasons yet
TBD.  Also, for whatever reason the resolution process seems to require
WAY more CPU than it should - IMHO.

In summary, I recommend "-n" unless you "need" the features name/ip
resolution adds.  The report I miss most is sorting by domain name, but
if it means I avoid 90% CPU or segfaults - I'll go without the report!

Hi,

Did you try starting ntop with the -n option?

I needed that to stop it from segfaulting. Since putting -n it has
been running for three weeks without problems.
