[Ntop] installation troubles

A few stupid questions upfront:
Did you read docs/BUILD-NTOP.txt ?
Did you check your autotools versions?
If you upgrade your autotools you'll have to run autogen.sh again.

>From the lines you sent it seems that you're having problems linking
static libraries (e.g. libpcap.a)
Try to build shared libraries instead (usually --enable-shared).
